It’s the end of May here in the desert, so I’m a little late reporting on Spring, but we’re having uncharactisically cool weather (meaning it’s 92 instead of 102) and it still feels like Spring. Birds are nesting in the fan above our patio (house finches), the second set so far. The pool is just about ready to jump into (I like it warm!), and I’m getting into cooking some of my favorite fruits and veggies.
The podcast is up to 9 episodes now! If you haven’t checked it out, give it a listen. Episodes range from discussing sets of cards from my deck to walking you through the steps to becoming your authentic self. We’re up to step 6 with 7 on the horizon.
A few things I want to share that I’m really into right now. The first is Tricia Hersey’s book “Rest is Resistance”. Corporate grind culture getting to you? Give yourself permission to slow down and get the rest you deserve. I also love Gill Meller’s “root stem leaf flower” cookbook, for cooking with vegetables and other plants. Super fresh and delicious, with recipes organized by season. I’ll be making the Courgette (that’s zucchini here in the U.S.) soup tonight.
The Not-so-Perfect-Journey coaching group has already completed 9 sessions! Did you miss out on the first round? I may be starting another group in September, so keep an eye out. Send me an email if you’d like to be included on any updates.
I always say this, but I will try to get better about more regular updates. If you’d like to get notified of new postings, make sure you sign up to get updates. Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!
